IP Arena Bass ABX-3 Medium Mallet. The ABX series is designed specifically for use in the indoor marching percussion environment and are constructed of heartwood hickory. The new series features our popular new tapered bass drum handles, also found on the FBX bass drum models. The ABX Series also includes Innovative Percussion’s unique, extra-hard, diamond shaped felt balls which create the extra articulation needed for the indoor environment without sacrificing a full spectrum bass drum response. The four models of Arena Series bass drum mallets are graduated in length, allowing players on any size drum to easily achieve good playing technique and beater placement, while affording them better feel, response, and rebound.
