IP FS-T5 Field Timpani Hard Felt (1 pair). The Field Series Timpani Mallets are constructed using solid red oak handles for excellent balance and control. The result is a slightly heavier mallet, as compared to our Concert Series Timpani Mallets, for a full tone quality and increased projection in marching percussion ensemble use. Each of the four covered models feature wood cores, woven felt liners, and durable synthetic felt covers. The T-5 Ultra Staccato model features the same solid red oak handle, with a hard felt ball for increased articulation.
